Hobbies: Reading, TV & movies, visiting family & friends, iPhone games...I'm addicted to Jigsaw Puzzle...but mostly watching TV or movies...that's my favorite "down-time" activity. LIFE-LONG Learning is at the top of my list. If I'm not taking classes or working on additional certifications, I'm not happy, it seems.
Pet Peeves: Gosh...I have SOOOO many! Lying, cheating, poor grammar, broken promises, poor drivers, disorganization, lack of accountability, lack of etiquette & social graces, ...the list just goes on & on & on.
Person who most inspired me: That's easy...my mother taught me to be determined, independent & to have a strong work-ethic. My father's dedication & commitment to family is truly inspiring. My son, however, has brought out the best in me, challenging me daily to see the best in people & to retain my sense of humor. He keeps me grounded...& keeps me laughing. My daughter continues to remind me how much our actions influence people's lives.
Working at Homer-Center is such a pleasant & rewarding experience. The students & staff are very enthusiastic &, in general, are very "up-beat". Students, here at HC, enjoy a strong sense of community & family...it's such a close environment...unlike any other.
